Deepika Padukone and Irfaan Khan’s next film will be shot in Nepal. The shoot will start from March 5 and the movie team has finalized all preparations for it. The film will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Bhardwaj, who wrote the screenplay for the film two years ago, said he is excited to work with Deepika. “She is a unique actress. I love her role”, said the ‘Omkara’ director.
Deepika is receiving rave reviews from all quarters for her performance as queen Padmavati in the recent period drama ‘Padmavat’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Khan, known for his selection of movies outside of the mainstream, is also in the limelight recently for his highly praised movie ‘Hindi Medium’.
The movie will be a crime thriller adapted from the Hussain Zaidi novel ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. It chronicles a bloody feud that ensued between underworld kingpin Dawood Ibrahim and Don Rahima Khan.
