'Kanchhi Musical Night' to raise fund for Majhi village construction

Shweta Shree Foundation, established in memory of late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha, is organizing ‘Kanchhi Musical Night” on 6th of February to raise funds for the construction of homes in Majhi village in Bhyaditole, Sindhupalchowk. The program will feature many big names from the film and music industry perform at the Annapurna Hotel. Upcoming film ‘Kanchhi’ actress Shweta Khadka – wife of late Shrestha, actor Dayahang Rai, singer Anju Panta, director Akash Adhikari, comedian Jitu Nepal, singer Rajan Raj Sivakoti, former Miss Nepal Sugarika KC etc. will help the foundation raise fund via their performance.
Shweta, who last acted with husband Shrestha in ‘Kohinoor’, took a sabbatical from the industry following the sad and untimely death of her husband. She is making a comeback in the industry with ‘Kanchhi’. The foundation is doing many similar charities works all over Nepal, targeting underprivileged and needy.
